Parana Fire Departament System - Mobile Application for Agile Communication with the Seaside Vacationers

Abstract

This article presents the main functionalities of the "Sistema Bombeiros Parana" (Parana Fire Department System), being a software solution implemented to improve the communication with the seaside vacationers of the state. Through the development of an application for mobile devices that is optimized for low cost equipment, it was possible to achieve a higher profile of the target audience of the service. The agile methodology used for the development of the project was Extreme Programming, because it was sought to meet the need in a simple and fast way with new functionalities being implemented according to the demand generated without the need for greater formalisms. At the end are presented the results after the availability to the community, and it is possible to visualize the acceptance by the public of interest.
