Abstract

In this paper, we propose an energy efficient scheme that helps to choose, adaptively, the number of Message Authentication Codes required to be attached to a data report being forwarded to the base station in probabilistic data filtering scheme. The proposed scheme achieves greater energy conservation and increased network operational time in the presence of the fabricated report and false vote generation attacks.
