Abstract

This paper investigates whether application of an optimal pair-wise semi-orthogonal user selection (OPWSUS) algorithm can provide throughput performance improvement in multiuser multiple-input multiple-output (MU-MIMO) system using block diagonalization (BD) at the transmit side and zero forcing (ZF) at the receive side. Presented simulation results are compared with results for same designed MU-MIMO system applying multicarrier weighted capacity-based SUS algorithm (MWCBSUS).
