Abstract

The stability and stabilization problem of networked inverted pendulum control system (NIPCS) with time-varying delays has been studied. The NIPCS is modelled as a discrete-time switched system with norm-bounded uncertainties and a state feedback controller is considered. Sufficient conditions are presented for the exponential stability of the closed-loop NIPCS by switched system approach and robust control techniques. Finally, the experiment of networked inverted pendulum control system is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
