When analyzing normative legal acts, attention was paid to the issues of admission, appointment, movement and dismissal of police officers. The issue of medical examination of persons entering the police service is considered separately. Attention is focused on the recruitment of specialists from the law enforcement agencies of Imperial Russia. Abstract
The article highlights the normative legal acts of the first half of the 20s of the twentieth century, which regulated the issues of serving in the police.
