Abstract

Demand side management (DSM) provisions have still large potentials in the residential sector. In the paper, a model of the residential customer's demand using a bottom-up approach, implemented in a load simulator, has been used in order to evaluate the impact of DSM actions on Italian average households' daily load shape. To this aim, some more diffuse demand management options have been simulated thus allowing predict possible impacts in parametrical terms.
