Abstract

A multivariable, non-linear search approach to fre­ quency assignment is presented. The frequency assign­ ment problem is formulated as a multivariable search problem by choosing the objective function, -which is to be minimized by the search algorithm, to be the interference criterion and by choosing the independent variables of the objective function, which are to be selected by the search algorithm, as the operational frequencies of the communi­ cation or radar system.
