Signal Processing for Fast Image Reconstruction

Abstract

Recent research in signal and image processing has led to a number of powerful new algorithms and novel approaches to many classical problems of signal estimation, image reconstruction, spectral analysis, and parameter estimation. Many of these results are relevant to image formation problems encountered in medical imaging. Here, we briefly discuss some relevant results obtained by our research group on signal and image processing at the University of Illinois as part of our work on SDIO/IST sponsored projects.
