Claiming youth: A new paradigm in youth policy

Abstract

Youth involved in youth in philanthropy programs have changed their communities, changed policy and practice, and in the process transformed their own lives. The author calls for an asset-based public policy approach that invites all youth to be partners in creating positive change in their communities.
