Abstract
We report on the demonstration of a highly efficient SESAM mode-locked Yb:KGW bulk laser that generated 400 fs pulses with an average output power of 12 W. The optical-to-optical efficiency and the slope efficiency were estimated to be 37% and 70%, respectively.
