Digital Lipoma – A Rare Resentation Of A Common Tumour

Abstract

Lipoma is the commonest and widely distributed tumour of the body. We report a 43 years old female who presented with a 2x2cm lipoma over the palmar surface of the middle phalanx of the right index finger. The diagnosis was suggested by an MRI scan and surgical excision was performed. Histopathology confirmed the diagnosis. The patient was symptom-free three months later.
