The article presents the results of experiments that show a number of features of DFIM controlled by RSC when exposed to mechanical loads. Abstract

This article presents the results of experiments on a doubly fed induction machine (DFIM) controlled by a rotor side frequency converter (RSC). This drive is widely used in the electric power industry and, in particular, in variable speed wind turbine systems (WTS).
