L’impatto del Covid-19 sul turismo in Italia: passato, presente e futuro

Abstract

The research intends to quantify and qualify the severity of the impact of Covid-19 on the Italian tourist destination. The current context is depicted on the base of recent international and national surveys, and it is the starting point for thinking about the future of tourism, without ignoring the past. Therefore, desirable paths of resilience are proposed to secure not only travellers, but also tourism businesses and territories, which constitute a great economic, social, historical, and cultural heritage of Italy
