Vacuum electronics and U.S. universities

Abstract

This talk is part of IVEC's plenary session discussing educational programs in vacuum electronics from various national perspectives. Here, the position of vacuum electronics in U.S. universities is examined with emphasis on its synergistic relationship with industry and government laboratories. Present dynamics are explored and future possibilities encouraged.
