In the overlapping mode, the resonance of parasitic capacitor and inductors leads to the drain-source voltage of transistors dropping to zero naturally. The resonant circuit and soft-switching constraint are analyzed in detail, a method for accurate calculation of the switching frequency is proposed, the main circuit parameters are designed, and a control scheme of dual-mode switching between PFM and PWM is adopted. Abstract

This paper studies the application of an isolated Weinberg topology in the anode power supply of the Hall electric propulsion system. In the overlapping mode, the resonance of parasitic capacitor and inductors leads to the drain-source voltage of transistors dropping to zero naturally. The resonant circuit and soft-switching constraint are analyzed in detail, a method for accurate calculation of the switching frequency is proposed, the main circuit parameters are designed, and a control scheme of dual-mode switching between PFM and PWM is adopted.
