In search for causes and solutions, the researcher traced negative attitude to work to be a major cause of this problem. This study examined theories of motivation with the view to enrich our conceptualization and understanding on how drives and needs influence human behavior especially at the workplace. This paper aims to bring to fore the impact of employees motivation in improving performance of workers.
