Abstract
As with any multiaccess communication system, radiofrequency identification is not free from interference when more than one transmission using the same frequency is sent out simultaneously on the common channel. Based on an anticollision protocol, this paper introduces a mathematical model for calculating analytically some parameters which let us configure the protocol for our application and get the results expected.
