Knowing that, mobile technology has changed everybody’s life in today’s world and people are carrying smartphones nearly all the time whether they are outside or inside their homes, it is suitable to have a smartphone application to measure and control any room’s temperature using them. For this paper requirements, Android smartphone platform was chosen to build the required application and connected successfully with the Arduino-built measurement system using MIT APP Inventor2 builder. The application was built and implemented effectively in measuring any room’s temperature and humidity frequently successfully. The Android application also provides a warning message if the temperature exceeds the permitted edge.
