Construction inspection guidelines

Abstract

Guidelines are presented the purpose of which is to demonstrate a complete and systematic approach to the inspection of distribution line construction. The terminology of work order inspection (WOI) is oriented to the Rural Electric Administration (REA) program, but the basic methodology is applicable to other utilities. The primary objective of implementing a basic WOI system is quality control, but other benefits will also be realized as a result of the increased attention work.<>
