Abstract

Joint spatial and temporal equalization techniques are considered most effective in reducing the effects of cochannel interference (CCI) and intersymbol interference (ISI) in broadband mobile communications. This paper proposes a new configuration of spatial and temporal equalizer (S/T-equalizer) using separated spatial and temporal signal processing.
