According to the characteristics of optimization model, parallel multi-population biased random-key genetic algorithm is used to solve the problem. Abstract

Cargo loading optimization (CLO) is the key technology of containerized transportation, with the growing of pallets used in the railway containerized transportation, in order to improve the efficiency of loading and transportation, especially transportation safety, it is necessary to optimize the loading for the pallet cargo. First, the best loading layers of cargoes on pallets is determined by analyzing the factors that cargoes packing, pallet size, carriers, vehicles and so on.
