Abstract

Resonant properties of scattering and generation of waves by a nonlinear layered object are numerically investigated by means of a self-consistent iterative algorithm. The excitation takes place close to the eigen frequencies of linearized spectral problems with induced dielectric permittivities, and the resulting properties of the nonlinear layered object are analyzed. Special consideration is given to the dynamics of the spectra and the energy characteristics of scattering and generation waves.
