Abstract

Cuprous oxide (Cu2O) is regarded as a promising photocatalyst with the advantages of low toxicity and cost, good environmental acceptability and strong absorption of visible light [11-15]. In the first contribution titled ‘Research Progress Over Cu2O/n-type Semiconductor Composites in Photocatalysis’, Gong et al., summarized the preparation methods of Cu2O/n-type semiconductor composites and their applications for CO2 reduction, hydrogen production, and degradation.
