Abstract

NiCo nanoparticles was uniformly doped on ZnO nanorod arrays by electroless polyol method. The effect of the deposition time (t) on the structure and magnetic properties has been investigated. The Ni-rich nanocomposition is detected when t <;30 min. The atomic ratio of Ni to Co is approaching to 1:1 when t increases to 60 min. In addition, NiCo-doped ZnO nanorods show typical superparamagnetic properties when t <; 30 min, while the ferromagnetic properties is more obvious when t increases to 60 min.
