EKSPLORASI KERANGKA ILMU MANAJEMEN PERKANTORAN DARI PENDEKATAN FILSAFAT ILMU

Abstract

Management or office administration is a part of management yet it has characteristics and knowledge that are diferent from management in general. However, there are still parties that cannot differentiate between management and office management where office management were considered as clerical work. Therefore, there are several cases that marked confusion and unsynchronization between study programs. Hence, there is a need to identify the basic knowledge of office management. This article aims to explore office management knowledge seen from knowledge philosophy: epistemology, ontology, and axiology. This study utilizes qualitative approach with Focus Group Discussion with panelists who have experience and competències in office management in acadèmic, office, and industry. The result of this study is the creation of office management structure seen from epistemology, ontology, and axiology approach.
