Also, distribution to distant consumers has no justification. Geothermal power plant could be successfully connected to the medium distribution power network by construction of new medium-voltage cables. Results of analysis and calculations showed that connection to 10 kV electricity distribution network is not a good choice, because it does not provide a reliable, safe and efficient supply of produced electricity. Abstract

This paper describes the analysis procedures in order to find the best technical solution for connecting geothermal power plant in the medium-voltage distribution power network. Medium-voltage electricity distribution network has two voltage levels. These are 10 kV and 35 kV voltage levels.
