Case 7: Syncope, Double

Abstract

Patient presents with frequent spells of passing out. Tilt test provoked two episodes of neurally mediated syncope, mixed type. Although rare, neurally mediated syncope can occur in the supine position. A second syncope can follow the first syncope almost immediately.
