Abstract
We propose a new optical ternary content-addressable memory design for ultra-high-speed packet routing and security analysis that leverages wavelength-division mul-tiplexing using silicon photonics microring modulators. The analysis shows that the energy consumption of the proposed optical Search Engine is as low as 134.2 fJ/bit.
