Abstract

The problem of modelling a uniform depth fluid flow, which generated by hydrodynamic source and sink, is considered. The solution of the appearing linear boundary-value problem is obtained using operator technique and Laplace transform. In the special case, when the hydrodynamic system intensity varies harmonically, an analytical formula for the wave surface elevation was obtained.
