Abstract

: The present study mainly aims to identify the reality of strategic planning in terms of its importance, types, challenges, and tracing its origin in Islamic Sharia in order to present the mechanisms and methods that contribute to its development and treatment. Thus, institutions and organizations may benefit from it in a practical way, since the efforts made to develop strategic planning suffer from many weaknesses that reduce its effectiveness and ability to compete in various fields. The study conclude that the Islamic perspective was the first to originate the strategic planning process, and make it part of the obligations people have to fulfill.
