Direct Digital Synthesizers of Complex Broadband Signals

Abstract

Principles of design and structural-schematic schemes of direct digital synthesizers, based on the direct digital frequency and signal synthesis method are presented. The block diagrams of direct digital synthesizers based on digital code accumulators and with an M-shaped frequency variation law are given. DDS allow synthesizing signals with amplitude, frequency and phase modulation in the frequency range from 0.001 to 400 MHz.
