Abstract

Hydrogen is a clean energy carrier and is considered energy for the future. Biomass gasification is thermochemical technology that can be used for the production of bio-hydrogen or green hydrogen. The produced hydrogen can be used in various applications such as power generation, liquid fuel and chemical production. Using waste biomass or agroresidues from the agricultural farm can be a good resource for hydrogen. Thus waste management and utilization along with sustainable renewable energy production can be achieved through technological intervention.
