Abstract
In dual cavity arletron, we put an extra modulation cavity just after the first modulation cavity to enhance the beam current modulation. This dual modulation cavity with the post-acceleration voltage allows creating a very dense electron bunches. The dual cavity arletron has been designed with the CST Microwave Studios. The hot (particle-in-cell) simulation has been carried out and a simulation result predicts that the device is capable to generate a microwave peak power of 950MW, which is 250 MW greater than the reported single cavity arletron. The total output of microwave power yielding a power gain of 1.38.
