Abstract
For some years many manufacturers have been developing new electromagnetic valves instead of hydraulic or pneumatic applications. In this article an existing design of an electromagnetic valve is optimized. The improvement is described step by step and the result is shown. Optimizations usually tend to low price, low weight and high power density. In this case low weight and high power density are the main goals.
