Abstract
The expansion of distribution systems is up including distributed generation (DG). This alternative offers technical and economic benefits, but to reach them is essential unifies it, since, considered individually and independently, does not offer any benefits. This research proposes a new technique where DG is treated as an Equivalent Generation Unit (EGU), which will integrate the DG electrical grids. It is suggested that the EGU is structured as an intelligent generation system to improve the efficiency of DG and its performance within the grids. Shown are the results of applying this technique a test system consisting of three feeders.
