Abstract

A compact design of a Single feed tri-band patch antenna is proposed for L-Band and S-Band applications. Stacked patch antenna is used with aperture coupled feed andArlon_AD300N dielectric substrate having a relative permittivity of 3.0. The designed antenna is simulated using the Keysight ADS (Advanced Design System) software and obtained results showed that the antenna operates in L1 Band, L5 Band and S-Band making it suitable for GPS and IRNSS application.
