Abstract

In this paper, a new broadband Frequency Selective Surface (FSS) electromagnetic absorber (EMA) is proposed. The absorber consists of circular metallic patches with different dimensions backed by a foam spacer and metallic ground. The patches provide different resonances resulting in improvement of the absorption characteristics of the proposed EMA.
