Abstract
This paper analyzed the magnetostrictive characteristics of iron core and stress mechanism of the silicon steel of HVDC converter transformer. Vibration test of iron core were carried out in the field and in the factory. And excitation voltage frequency and amplitude dependence of vibration acceleration signals of iron core were studied as well.
