Design of a compact antenna is a challenge in current scenario as the field grows drastically. In this paper, we have studied and analyzed the polygonal structure for the antenna structure and are used for array design. Four different geometrical shapes are considered in this work where the centre patch is a square one with dimension of 11X11mm. The array of 3X3 and 4X4shape with four different shapes are analyzed. It is observed from simulation results that hexagonal shape out performs other shapes both in 3X3 array structure and 4X4 array structure in terms of gain, return loss and bandwidth.
