This research creates a tool to accurately detect plant leaf width through plant growth monitored by the people-research implementation in the form of a mobile application that can detect the width of plant leaves. Using the canny edge detection method, the results obtained system accuracy of 95.06%, the light intensity of 18.75 lux, angle of 90°, and distance of 30 cm.
