Abstract

Calculation technique for modeling ultrawideband (UWB) impulse responses of low-altitude radar targets of resonant sizes against reflection from underlying terrain is considered. Developed algorithm is based on magnetic field integral equation (MFIE) solution. Futures of developed numerical algorithm are discussed. Results of modeling of high-resolution range profiles (HRRPs) of cruise missile located at low altitude above a ground in the case of radar sounding by the UWB signal of VHF band are demonstrated and discussed.
