Abstract

The conventional synthetic aperture radar (SAR) cannot image in the forward-looking direction; this problem can be solved by bistatic SAR(BSAR). A bistatic forward-looking SAR(BFSAR) configuration is introduced in this paper. The series inversion method (MSR) is adopted to obtain its 2D spectrum, and then the inverse scale Fourier transform algorithm (SCFT) is used based on this spectrum. The simulation results verify the effectiveness of this method.
