However, there is a deficiency in this algorithm. We find that the approach creates a comparison table and then bases on the score criteria for decision making problems and parameter reduction. The comparison table and score criteria may lead to incorrect choice and parameter reduction. Two counter-examples are given to point out the problem. Then, the comparison value table is given to overcome the weakness of the comparison table and score criteria. Finally, a normal parameter reduction approach by means of the comparison value table is proposed. Abstract
