Influence of the furniture on 60 GHz radio propagation in a residential environment

Abstract

At millimeter waves, the home furniture and object dimensions can be equal or superior to the wavelength. A comparison between propagation measurements conducted within a residential house for two configurations, furnished and empty, reveals a real influence of the furniture in the millimeter-waves propagation.
