A Survey of Disconnecting Circuit Breaker's Application

Abstract

With the rapid development of the construction in smart grid in China, the construction of intelligent substation is the key part of it. disconnecting circuit breakers(DCB), as the key intelligent devices in substations, play a very important role. Firstly, the research and application of DCBs at home and abroad are analyzed. And then the principle, technology, economy, operation and maintenance of DCBs, the needs of operation and maintenance personnel are analyzed. It is pointed out that with the development of the technology of DCBs, the application scope will be wider and wider. Studying the intelligent technology of functional integration will become the focus of this field.
