Methodology for successful spin-off creation in academic setting

Abstract

This paper looks at the overall perception and understanding of spin-offs, describes the key considerations related to spin-off creation and management and introduces a proposal for general methodology for spin-off creation in academic setting. Finally, the contribution also describes some of the key motivational mechanisms to foster entrepreneurial thinking within academic environment.
