Abstract

In this paper, we describe Gesture Viewport, a projector-camera system that enables finger gesture interactions with media content on any surface. We propose a novel and computationally efficient finger localization method based on the detection of occlusion patterns inside a virtual sensor grid rendered in a layer on top of a viewport widget.
