Abstract

The objective of this research was to present the concepts to determine the reliability of the multisource system in the commercial sector of a small electrical grid denominated Pilot Unit. Due to the evaluation and estimate of the reliability of Li-ion batteries in the Microgrid, the reliability of the multisource system was calculated. The calculation of the reliability of the Microgrid used the Weibull statistical model. The results had shown a direct relationship between the reliability of the multisource system and the reliability of the Microgrid elements.
