Abstract

Employee assistance programmes are designed to recognise the interaction between people’s domestic and working lives and to offer confidential counselling to staff to address personal or other problems, including work‐related stress, that may be affecting their performance. Explains the basics of an EAP and the factors underlying successful implementation.
