Abstract
The expansion of organizations leads to creation of vast amounts of information and knowledge that requires to be disseminated. Searching for this knowledge from vast pool of information is not easy. For organizations to make better use of the knowledge available to them, it is necessary to link the human resource practices with knowledge management. Therefore, this study was conducted on employees of banking, education, IT, healthcare and telecommunication to analyse the impact of HR practices on knowledge management (knowledge acquisition, sharing, interpretation and storage). The data was collected using a structured questionnaire. The data was analysed using SPSS and AMOS by applying correlation and regression analysis. The results of the study established the relationship between HR practices and knowledge management through a significant regression model. Thus, human resource practices have a significant and positive impact on knowledge management.
